Operations during COVID-19 - Phase 2 Reopening

  • We are currently offering walk-up window service for copies, FAX, notary and checkouts. You can also pick up voter registration forms and 1040 Tax forms.
  •  Window service will be available M-F 10 am - 6pm and Sat 9 am - noon. We ask that you call from your car when you arrive and only one person is allowed at the walk up window at a time.
  • We are taking appointments for in-library computer use, limited to 1 hour sessions.
  • All returns must be made in the book drop on the SE corner of the library. Materials are quarantined for 72 hours before cleaning and checking in. Returns will not be accepted at the walk-up window.
  •  You may also email print jobs to for $0.15 per page for window pick up.  
  • You can request materials online at or you can call and librarians will assist you in selecting materials, 547-5185.

Library Reopening Phase 3, June 1

  • The Library building will reopen to the public for regular hours of operation M-F 10 am -6pm and Saturday 9 am – noon.

  • Walk-up window service will still be available to anyone who prefers not to enter the building.

  • The first hour of daily operation is reserved for elderly or high-risk patrons.

  • Only one individual or family group will be permitted in each aisle or section at a time.

  • Family groups must remain together and children cannot be left unattended for any amount of time.

  • Social distancing measures will be put in place with signage.

  • Only two public computers will be available at a time, limited to 1 hour sessions, one person per computer.

  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available to patrons and staff.

  • All public seating and children’s toys have been removed or will be restricted.

  • The drinking fountain will not be available.

  • One restroom will be available for public use and one will be reserved for staff use.

  • Patrons are encouraged to keep library visits to 15 minutes or less for browsing.

  • The Genealogy Room is not available to the public. Staff will provide research assistance.

  • Staff will operate the copier.

  • Masks will be worn by librarians working the front counter, the lobby desk, or anytime out in the stacks.

  • Everyone entering the building is encouraged to wear a mask and sanitize their hands upon entering and leaving the facility.

  • Library returns will not be accepted at the window – they must go in the book drop.

  • All returned items are quarantined for 72 hours before being handled for check in and cleaning.

  • A plexiglass sneeze guard has been installed at the front desk.

  • Patrons will scan their own library materials with a hands free barcode scanner. A checkout receipt will be provided in lieu of librarians stamping books.

Drop Box

Located on the southeast corner of the library, there is a drive-up drop box that is available for returns 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
